Campbell County Planning and Zoning

The purpose of the Campbell County and Municipal Planning and Zoning Commission is to formulate plans for zoning in its jurisdiction, to approve or disapprove zoning changes requested by the public, and to serve the best interest of the County residents in accordance with KRS Chapter 100.  The jurisdiction of the Planning Commission is unincorporated Campbell County and the Cities of Crestview, Melbourne, Silver Grove, Southgate, and Woodlawn.

In accordance with the KRS and the Interlocal Agreement, the Planning Commission is comprised of nine (9) members, five (5) of whom are appointed by the County Judge/Executive with confirmation of the Fiscal Court and one (1) member appointed by each Crestview, Melbourne, Silver Grove, and Southgate.  Appointment shall be for a term of four (4) years.
