Steve Pendery, Judge/Executive

Judge Pendery was elected County Judge/Executive in November 1998.

Professional Career

Judge Pendery is the co-owner of Pendery Insurance and Risk Management Group.

Public Service

A lifelong resident of Campbell County, Judge Pendery has served as Campbell County Judge/Executive since 1999. Prior to his service to the Fiscal Court, he was Mayor of Fort Thomas from 1990 until 1998 and a Councilman from 1984 until 1990.

Personal Background

Judge Pendery and his wife Dana have two children, Chase and Allie.

Education

Judge Pendery is a graduate of Highlands High School, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and was a National Merit Scholar. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Denison University and is a graduate of Ohio State University College of Law.

Community Involvement

Judge Pendery is involved in many community organizations. Among others, he serves as Chairman of the Board of the Northern Kentucky Tri-County Economic Development Corporation (Tri-Ed). He is first vice president and board member for Ohio-Kentucky-Indiana Regional Council of Government. He serves on the Board of Directors for both the Northern Kentucky University Foundation as well as the Dan Beard Council of the Boy Scouts. Steve is a member of the Campbell Leadership Action Group, and the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce. He also belongs to the Kentucky Bar Association and the CPCU Society, which are professional associations.
Judge Pendery is a graduate of Leadership Kentucky. He is a member of Christ Church UCC.
