Commissioner Hayden earned his Bachelor's degree in 1983 from Indiana University. In 1986, he graduated cum laude from Indiana University, School of Law.

Community Involvement |

Commissioner Hayden serves on the Executive Committee of the Campbell County Republican Party. Commissioner Hayden has additionally served in several organizations related to the Catholic Church. He has been a commissioned Catholic Lay Pastoral Minister since 1998 and served on the Diocese of Covington Kentucky Pastoral Council from 1999 until 2002. From 1998 through 2002, he was a member of the Alliance for Catholic Urban Education. Since 1995, he has been active in many programs at St. Joseph Church, including CORE, Parish Council, and youth athletic teams. Commissioner Hayden also taught Law, Legal Writing, and Oral Advocacy at the University of Kentucky Law School from 1993 until 1995. Finally, Commissioner Hayden is a member of the National Rifle Association.
