Child Abuse Prevention Month

Campbell County Fiscal Court hereby proclaims April 2008, Child abuse prevention month, and calls upon all citizens, community agencies, religious organizations, medical facilities and businesses to increase their participation in the efforts to prevent child abuse, thereby strengthening the communities in which we live.

Fire Books Available

The Campbell County Firefighters Education Association has copies of their publication on the history of Fire Service in the county for sale.  If interested contact Adam Fuller, Central Campbell Fire Department, 859-441-7631.  The cost is $15 each

Project Child Safe

The Campbell County Police Department is participating in “Project Child Safe”. The program provides free gunlocks to the general public in an effort to make homes with firearms safer and prevent needless accidents. Free gunlocks may be obtained, no questions asked, at the Campbell County Police Headquarters, 8774 Constable Drive, Alexandria, KY. Questions or information on the program may be directed to Lt.
